Double Chocolate Mint Bars

Ingredients:

  1. 1 cups - all-purpose flour
  2. 1 cups - granulated sugar plus 1 teaspoon
  3. 1/2 cups - butter softened
  4. 4 - eggs
  5. 1 cups - chocolate syrup
  6. 1/2 tablespoons - vanilla extract
  7. 1 pinchs - salt
  8. 2 cups - powdered sugar
  9. 1/2 cups - butter
  10. 1 tablespoons - water
  11. 1/2 teaspoons - mint extract
  12. 3 drops - green food coloring
  13. 6 tablespoons - butter
  14. 1 cups - semi-sweet chocolate chips

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350˚
In a large bowl, combine chocolate bottom ingredients and mix until smooth. Pour into greased 9x13 and bake for 25-30 min.
Cool completely, then combine mint ingredients, beat until smooth, and spread over bottom layer.
Refrigerate 1 hour.
Melt topping ingredients together, spread over mint, and refrigerate.
