Double Chocolate Chip Brownie

Ingredients:

  1. 2 cups - semisweet chocolate chips divided
  2. 1/2 cups - butter (1/2 cup = 1 stick) cut into pieces
  3. 3 - large eggs
  4. 1 1/4 cups - all-purpose flour
  5. 1 cups - granulated sugar
  6. 1 teaspoons - vanilla extract
  7. 1/4 teaspoons - baking soda
  8. 1/2 cups - chopped nuts

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a 13-x-9-inch baking pan.

Melt 1 cup of chocolate chips and sliced butter in a large saucepan over low heat; stir until smooth. Remove from heat.

Stir in eggs until completely blended, then stir in flour, sugar, vanilla extract and baking soda. Blend completely.

Stir in remaining chocolate chips and nuts. Spread into prepared baking pan.

Bake for 18 to 22 minutes or until wooden toothpick inserted in center comes out slightly sticky. Cool completely in pan on wire rack.
