Number of Servings:
Ingredients:
- 1 cups - scalded or evaporated milk
 - 1/4 cups - butter melted
 - 1 packages - yeast
 - 1/3 cups - warm water
 - 1/2 cups - sugar
 - 1 pinchs - salt
 - 1 - egg
 - 4 cups - flour plus up to 1 cup more, as needed

Directions:
Combine milk with butter; set aside.
Dissolve yeast in warm water; add sugar, salt, and egg. Add milk.
Add flour. Knead in another 1 cup of flour if needed to make pliable dough consistency. Cover and let rise until double (about 1 hour).
Punch down dough, adding a little flour, if needed if dough is sticky. Divide dough into 12 equal portions and roll each into shape of a ball and place in greased 9x13-inch baking pan; cover and let rise again for about 30 minutes.
Bake at 350 degrees F for 20 minutes.
When done, brush tops with butter before serving.
