Ingredients:
- 1 packages - Active Dry Yeast
- 1/4 cups - Warm Water
- 1 cups - Creamed Cottage Cheese lukewarm
- 2 tablespoons - Sugar
- 1 tablespoons - Onion minced
- 1 tablespoons - Butter
- 2 teaspoons - Dill Seed (not weed)
- 1 teaspoons - Salt
- 1/4 teaspoons - Soda
- 1 whole - Egg beaten
- 2 1/2 cups - Flour
Directions:
Soften yeast in warm water. In a mixing bowl, combine cottage cheese, sugar, onion, butter, dill, salt, soda, egg, and softened yeast. Add flour to form a stiff dough, beating well after each addition. Cover and let rise in a warm place (85°-90°) until light and doubled in size, about 50 minutes.
Punch dough down and turn into a well greased 8" round 1 1/2 - 2 quart casserole or loaf pan. Let rise in a warm place until light (not doubled, but about 1/3 again in size), about 30-40 minutes.
Bake at 350° for 40-50 minutes or until golden brown. Brush with soft butter and sprinkle with salt.
