Dijon Balsamic Vinaigrette

  1. 1 3/4 cups - olive oil
  2. 1/3 cups - chopped shallots
  3. 1 1/2 tablespoons - chopped garlic
  4. 1/4 cups - Dijon mustard
  5. 1/2 cups - balsamic vinegar
  6. - salt and pepper


Pour 1/4 cup of olive oil in frying pan over medium-high heat. Add shallots and garlic and cook for 5 minutes or until lightly brown.

Remove from heat and set aside to cool to room temperature.

Place shallots, garlic, Dijon mustard and balsamic vinegar in your temp-tations 0.5 quart bowl. Stir to combine.

Whisk in remaining 1-1/2 cups of olive oil in a steady stream. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
