Denise's Pot Roast

Ingredients:

  1. - 2-3 lb. Beef roast
  2. 1/4 cups - Water
  3. 1 envelopes - Onion Soup Mix
  4. 1 cans - Cream of Mushroom Soup
  5. 1 tablespoons - Kitchen Bouquet Browning Sauce

Directions:

1. Place roast in slow cooker with ¼ cup water. Sprinkle onion soup mix on top and sides of roast. Cook on low for 6-8 hours until meat is tender.

2. Take meat out of slow cooker and slice it. Pour leftover juices and trimming from the slow cooker and combine in a blender with can of cream of mushroom soup. Add 1 Tbsp of Bouquet and blend until completely combined.

3. Set slow cooker to low, put meat and gravy back in. Stir well and let meat rest in gravy for 10-15 minutes. Serve with mashed potatoes and peas.
