Ingredients:
- 1 cups - boiling water
- 1 teaspoons - baking soda
- 1 cups - dates
- 1/2 cups - butter
- 1 1/4 cups - white sugar
- 2 - eggs
- 1 3/4 cups - flour
- 1 teaspoons - cocoa
- 1 cups - chocolate chips
- 1/2 cups - chopped nuts
Directions:
Mix baking soda and dates together. Pour boiling water over them.
Cream together butter and sugar; add eggs. Add date mixture.
Stir in flour and cocoa.
Pour into 9-x-13-inch pan. Sprinkle with chocolate chips and nuts.
Bake at 350 degrees F for 25 minutes.
