Crunchy Cabbage Slaw

Ingredients:

  1. 1 packages - 3 oz. Ramen Noodle soup mix
  2. 1/4 cups - sliced almonds
  3. 1/3 cups - canola oil
  4. 1/4 cups - cider vinegar
  5. 2 1/2 tablespoons - sugar
  6. 1 - small green cabbage shredded
  7. 1 - small carrot grated
  8. 3 - green onions sliced

Directions:

1. Remove flavor packet from soup mix and reserve. Break ramen noodles into pieces and place on a lightly greased baking sheet. Add sliced almonds. Bake at 350, stirring occasionally, 5 to 10 minutes until roasted. Set aside.

2. Whisk together reserved flavor packet, oil, vinegar, sugar in a bowl til blended. Chill for 1 hour.

3. Toss together cabbage, carrots, onion and dressing in a large bowl. Place noodles around outside edge of cabbage mixture and top with almonds.
