Crunchy Brunch Biscuits

Ingredients:

  1. 1/4 cups - margarine
  2. 1/3 cups - sugar
  3. 1/4 teaspoons - cinnamon
  4. 1 cans - 10 oz. canned biscuits

Directions:

Grease a cake pan with shortening and set aside.

Melt margarine in a small saucepan over low heat. Combine sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl.

Using your fingers, dip both sides of biscuits into melted margarine; then dip both sides of biscuits into sugar / cinnamon mixture.

Arrange biscuits in greased pan. Bake at 375 degrees F for 20 to 25 minutes or until golden brown. Remove biscuits with spatula. Serve warm.

Variations: Add 1/3 cup chopped nuts to the sugar and cinnamon mixture.
