Crockpot Stuffing

Ingredients:

  1. 1 cups - Chopped Onion
  2. 1 cups - Chopped Celery
  3. 1/4 cups - Butter
  4. 6 cups - Cubed day-old white bread
  5. 6 cups - Cubed day-old whole wheat bread
  6. 1 teaspoons - Salt
  7. 1 teaspoons - Poultry Seasoning
  8. 1 teaspoons - Rubbed-Sage
  9. 1/2 teaspoons - Pepper
  10. 1 cans - Reduced sodium chicken broth or vegetable broth
  11. 2 - Eggs; Beaten

Directions:

In a small nonstick skillet over medium heat, cook onion & celery in butter until tender. In a large bowl, combine the bread cubes, salt, poultry seasoning, sage & pepper. Stir in onion mixture. Combine broth & eggs; add to bread mixture. Toss to coat. Transfer to a 3 quart slow cooker coated with cooking spray. Cover & cook on low for 3-4 hours or until a thermometer reads 160 Degrees.
