Number of Servings:
Ingredients:
- 4 1/2 pounds - country style ribs with bone trimmed of all fat, lightly salted and peppered
- 2 cans - 8 oz. tomato sauce
- 1/2 cups - tomato paste
- 2 tablespoons - Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoons - chopped garlic
- 1/2 - pourable Splenda
- 1/2 cups - red wine vinegar
- 1/2 - large onion cut into 1/2-inch slices and then rings halved
- 2 - green peppers cut into 1 inch pieces
Directions:
1. In a large crockpot layer first the ribs and then the veggies. Mix sauce ingredients and pour over mixture.
2. Set crock pot on low and cook for 8 hours or while you're at work.
3. If the sauce is watery, about 1/2 hour before serving, put the sauce in a sauce pan and cook on medium high heat, watching so it does not burn. It usually reduces to a thick wonderful sauce in about 20 minutes.
