Creamy Chocolate Frosting

  1. 2 cups - whipping cream
  2. 2 cups - semi-sweet chocolate, milk chocolate or vanilla baking chips
  3. 3 cups - to 3-1/2 cups confectioners' sugar
  4. -


In a medium saucepan, bring cream to a simmer, about 160 degrees F.; remove from the heat.

Stir in chocolate chips until melted. Place pan in bowl of ice water; stir constantly until cooled.

Gradually whisk in sugar until smooth and thick.
