Creamed Sweet Peas

Ingredients:

  1. 1 tablespoons - all-purpose flour
  2. 1/4 cups - sugar
  3. 2/3 cups - milk
  4. 2 cups - fresh sweet peas or 1 package (10 ounces) frozen peas, thawed
  5. 1/4 teaspoons - pepper

Directions:

In a large saucepan, combine the flour, sugar and milk. Stir in peas and pepper; bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer for 10-12 minutes or until peas are heated through and sauce has thickened.
