Brief Description
Mint candy but can use other extracts to make different flavors. Not really sure how many mints this recipe makes. Needs to stand at least 4 hours to firm before packaging.

Because of the cream cheese, I would definitely refrigerate the finished products.

Ingredients:
- 8 ounces - cream cheese
- 1/4 cups - margerine
- 2 pounds - confectioner's sugar
- - food coloring
- 1/2 teaspoons - peppermint or lemon extract, or other flavoring
Directions:
Combine cream cheese and margerine in a saucepan. Stir over low heat until cheese is soft and margerine is melted. Add sugar and stir until combined. Add your choice of food coloring and flavoring. (You may divide the batch to make different colors and/or flavors.)
Roll into 1" balls. Place on a sheet of waxed paper. Press with fork (or other stamp) to make design and flatten. Let stand overnight or 4 hours until mints are firm.
