Number of Servings:
Ingredients:
- 2 cups - fresh cranberries ground
- 2 cups - sugar
- 2 packages - raspberry Jell-O
- 2 cups - water
- 1 cups - chopped nuts
- 1 cups - chopped celery
- 1 cups - chopped apples
- 2/3 cups - crushed pineapple
Directions:
Grind fresh cranberries in a food processor and place them in a bowl. Add sugar and let stand.
(You can also use the food processor to coarsely chop the apples, celery and nuts).
Dissolve Jell-O in boiling hot water (remove hot water from burner before adding Jell-O), stirring until completely dissolved. Let cool, but not thicken. Add to cranberry mixture and stir well.
Mix in the nuts, celery, apples and pineapple.
Pour cooled mixture into a pretty crystal bowl and refrigerate. Serve from that bowl or store in covered plastic bowl and spoon into a serving bowl when ready to serve.
Keeps well for up to one week in the refrigerator. Also freezes well; simply thaw a day or two before serving.
