Ingredients:
- 1 cups - apple juice (no sugar added)
- 1 3/4 cups - light brown sugar
- 12 ounces - fresh cranberries
- 2 - Bosc pears cored, peeled, diced
- 1 tablespoons - grated peeled fresh ginger
- 1 teaspoons - ground cardamom
- 1 teaspoons - ground cinnamon
- dashes - sea salt
Directions:
Combine juice and sugar in a heavy saucepan. Bring to a boil; add cranberries, diced pear, ginger and seasonings; return to a boil.
Reduce heat, cover and cook gently for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Cover and cool completely at room temperature.
Refrigerate until serving time. Keeps, chilled, for one week.
