Cranberry Bread

Ingredients:

  1. 1 sticks - butter
  2. 2 cups - sugar
  3. 3 - eggs
  4. 1 1/2 cups - orange juice
  5. 4 cups - flour
  6. 1 teaspoons - salt
  7. 1 teaspoons - baking powder
  8. 1 bags - chopped pecans
  9. 2 cups - raw cranberries I use the whole berry and do not cut them up

Directions:

Cream together the butter, sugar and eggs. Carefully add the orange juice until combined.

Then stir in the dry ingredients (flour, salt and baking powder) a little at a time.

Finally, add the nuts and cranberries.

Grease two loaf pans liberally. Pour batter into loaf pans and bake at 350 degrees F for 50-60 minutes or 'til toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.

Let cool for just a few minutes and turn out of the pan onto a cooling rack.
