Crab Cakes

Ingredients:

  1. 1 pounds - crab meat
  2. 1/2 sticks - butter
  3. 1/2 - onion chopped
  4. 1 teaspoons - kosher salt
  5. 2 - large eggs
  6. 1 1/2 teaspoons - Worcestershire sauce
  7. 1 teaspoons - paprika
  8. 1/2 teaspoons - pepper
  9. 2 tablespoons - prepared tartar sauce
  10. 2 slices - bread in small pieces
  11. 6 tablespoons - bread crumbs

Directions:

Cook onion and 1/2 teaspoon salt in 1 tablespoon butter. Cool.

Whisk eggs, Worcestershire sauce, paprika, pepper, tartar sauce and onions together. Fold in crab meat and torn bread (mixture will be wet).

Form into 6 cakes. Line a tray with waxed paper; sprinkle with half of bread crumbs. Add cakes. Sprinkle with remaining bread crumbs. Pat. Cover cakes and chill for 1 hour.

Melt remaining butter; cook cakes 3 minutes on each side.
