Mom’s Notes: 1. I would use butter rather than margarine for this recipe as sometimes it is okay to use them interchangeably. 2. I always use panko crumbs but the recipe calls for the bread crumbs 3. Be careful buying the crab. 8 oz can run from $10 to $30 per container. The best place to buy is Harris Teeter or Giant/Kroger. Look for claw meat which tends to be the cheapest. I get it in a one pound can for $10 and then double the batch or make soup or put on salad with the extra.

Ingredients:
- 1 - Egg
- 3 tablespoons - Mayo
- 4 teaspoons - Lemon Juice Fresh is better if you have it
- 1/8 teaspoons - Red Pepper Flakes Optional
- 1 1/2 teaspoons - Old Bay Seasoning
- 1 tablespoons - Green Onions
- 8 ounces - Crab Meat
- 1/2 cups - Panko Crumbs Regular breadcrumbs can be subsituted
- 1 teaspoons - Butter
Directions:
1. In a bowl, combine everything
2. Using hands, form into at least 4 patties
3. Heat butter in skillet over medium heat (be careful to watch as butter gets warm fast and will turn brown and yucky).
4. Place patties in skillet and cook 5 to 6 minutes on each side until golden brown.
