Country Gravy (Cream Gravy)

Ingredients:

  1. 4 tablespoons - bacon grease
  2. 1/4 cups - butter
  3. 4 tablespoons - flour
  4. 2 1/2 cups - milk
  5. 1 - chicken bouillon cube
  6. - salt and pepper

Directions:

1. Melt bacon grease and butter in a sauce pan over medium heat.

2. Add flour and mix, creating a roux.

3. Whisk in milk slowly to prevent lumps.

4. Whisk until smooth and thick.

5. Add bouillon cube, salt and pepper.

6. Tips - If your sauce gets too thick, add more milk. If it is too runny, add more flour.
