Directions:
De-Gunk the Dishwasher: Clear out food from the drain, blow spray arm. Remove screen if possible and rinse, return screen and run with a dishwasher cleaner.
Deep-Clean your Microwave: Spray interior with all-purpose kitchen cleaner and wipe it down. Squeeze half a lemon into a microwave safe bowl, add a cup of water and drop the lemon half into the bowl. Microwave on high for 3-5 mins and leave door shut for 5 more mins. Take out bowl and wipe interior with a clean cloth dipped in lemon water.
Get Grime out of your Grout: Apply grout cleanser and let sit for as long as the directions recommend and scrub with a toothbrush or grout brush.
Flush your Garbage Disposal: Twice a year, clean the blades by dumping a tray full of ice cubes int he disposal along with a cup of rock salt. Run cold water for a few mins to harden up any grease or food. Then turn on the disposal. Any time you cook with lemons or oranges throw the leftovers in to freshen it.
Make your Oven Shine: Remove oven racks and scrub them clean. Then combine 1 cup baking soda and 6 Tbsp ow water in a bowl. Cover the interior of the oven with the paste and let it sit for several hours before scrubbing it off with a damp sponge. Then clean the vent hood by wiping down the surface and remove the grease filters. Run them through your dishwasher w/o any dishes on a light cycle or soak them in hot soapy water and gently clean by hand.
