Ingredients:
- 2 tablespoons - olive oil
- 1 tablespoons - garlic minced
- 4 cans - crushed tomatoes
- 1 cans - tomato paste
- 1/4 cups - dry white wine
- 1/2 cups - sugar
- 1/2 cups - Italian seasoned breadcrumbs
- 1 tablespoons - dried basil
- tablespoons - dried parsley
Directions:
1. Heat olive oil over a medium high heat and add minced garlic. Cook for 2-3 minutes.
2. Add white wine to deglaze the pan and reduce down.
3. Reduce heat to medium and add the tomatoes and tomato paste. Stir well.
4. Add sugar, breadcrumbs, basil and parsley. Combine well.
5. Reduce heat down to medium low and cook for at least 30 minutes, but up to 4 hours until thick and flavorful. Stir every now and then, making sure to scrape the bottom of the pan.
