Clam Chowder

Ingredients:

  1. 2 cups - potatoes finely chopped
  2. 1/2 cups - butter
  3. 2 cans - minced clams and juice
  4. 1 cups - carrots
  5. 1/2 cups - flour
  6. 1 quarts - milk or half & half
  7. 1 1/2 teaspoons - salt
  8. 1 dashes - pepper
  9. 1 teaspoons - red wine vinegar
  10. 1 cups - onions finely chopped
  11. 1 cups - celery finely chopped

Directions:

Steam veggies. Heat clams in their juice in separate pan. Melt butter, add flour, blend well. Add milk and stir with wire whisk until thick. Add veggies and clams. Salt & pepper. Serves 8.
