Cinnamon Apple Pork Chops

Ingredients:

  1. 2 tablespoons - reduced-fat butter such as Land O'Lakes light stick butter
  2. 4 - boneless pork loin chops (4 ounces each)
  3. 3 tablespoons - brown sugar
  4. 1 teaspoons - ground cinnamon
  5. 1/2 teaspoons - ground nutmeg
  6. 1/4 teaspoons - salt
  7. 4 - medium tart apples thinly sliced
  8. 2 tablespoons - chopped pecans

Directions:

In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon butter over medium heat. Add pork chops; cook 4-5 minutes on each side or until a thermometer reads 145° F.

Meanwhile, in a small bowl, mix together brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg and salt.

Remove pork chops from skillet; set aside and keep warm.

Add apples, pecans, brown sugar mixture and remaining butter to pan; cook and stir until apples are tender.

Serve with chops.
