Chocolate Zucchini Cake

Ingredients:

  1. 1/2 cups - butter
  2. 1/2 cups - oil
  3. 1 3/4 cups - sugar
  4. 2 - eggs
  5. 1 teaspoons - vanilla
  6. 1/2 cups - sour milk
  7. 1/2 teaspoons - ground cloves
  8. 1/2 teaspoons - cinnamon
  9. 2 1/2 cups - flour
  10. 1/4 cups - cocoa
  11. 1/2 teaspoons - baking powder
  12. 1 teaspoons - baking soda
  13. 2 cups - zucchini finely diced
  14. 1/4 cups - chocolate chips
  15. 3 ounces - cream cheese
  16. 1 sticks - butter
  17. 2 cups - powdered sugar
  18. 1 teaspoons - vanilla

Directions:

Cream together butter, oil, and sugar. Beat in the eggs; add vanilla and sour milk.
Take 1/8 teaspoon of the cocoa and sprinkle over chocolate chips; set aside.
Take 1 teaspoon of flour or more and mix in with diced zucchini.
Mix all the dry ingredients together in a mixing bowl. Slowly beat the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients and mix in the zucchini in small amounts. Add chocolate chips. Mix well.
Pour into a 9-inch greased square pan.
Bake at 325 degrees for 40-50 minutes.

For icing, if you choose: Cream together cream cheese and butter. Add sugar and vanilla and beat until very smooth. Frost cake after it has completely cooled.
