Chocolate Peppermint Crunch Brownies

Ingredients:

  1. 1 boxes - Hershey's instant chocolate pudding mix (3.56 oz)
  2. 1 packages - 18 oz. brownie mix
  3. 2 - eggs
  4. 1/4 cups - vegetable oil
  5. 1/4 cups - water
  6. 1 cups - Hershey's premier white chocolate chips melted
  7. 1 cups - ready to spread cream cheese frosting
  8. 1/2 cups - confectioner's sugar
  9. 1/2 teaspoons - to 3/4 teaspoon peppermint extract to taste
  10. 1/4 cups - crushed peppermint candies (3 to 4 candy canes)

Directions:

1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease a 9x13-inch pan (glass pan 325°F.).

2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together chocolate pudding mix and brownie mix. Add eggs, oil and water and stir until well blended.

3. Pour into prepared pan and bake 20 to 23 minutes. Cool completely.

4. In a mixing bowl, whisk together melted white chips and frosting; add confectioner's sugar and peppermint extract and mix until smooth.

5. Frost cooled brownies and sprinkle with crushed peppermints. Cut and serve.

Makes 20 brownies.
