Chocolate Fudge Earthquake Cake

Ingredients:

  1. 1 boxes - chocolate fudge cake mix (plus ingredients needed to prepare cake)
  2. 1/2 cups - butter
  3. 8 ounces - cream cheese at room temperature
  4. 1 teaspoons - vanilla
  5. 2 cups - powdered sugar
  6. 1 cups - semi-sweet chocolate chips
  7. 1 cups - coconut

Directions:

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a 9-x-13-inch pan.

2. Melt the butter either in the microwave or on the stove. Mix in the cream cheese, vanilla and powdered sugar. Fold in the chocolate chips and coconut; set aside.

3. Prepare cake mix according to package directions. Pour batter into prepared pan.

4. Spoon dollops of the cream cheese mixture onto the batter leaving a little edge. Lightly swirl the batter around.

5. Bake in preheated oven for 40-45 minutes. Allow to cool before slicing.
