Chocolate Fudge Cookie Bites

Ingredients:

  1. 3/4 cups - Sugar
  2. 1/3 cups - Unsweetened cocoa powder
  3. 4 tablespoons - Butter softened
  4. 4 ounces - Unsweetened applesauce
  5. 1 teaspoons - Vanilla Extract
  6. 1 3/4 cups - All-Purpose flour
  7. 1 teaspoons - Baking powder
  8. 1/4 teaspoons - Salt
  9. 2 tablespoons - Powdered Sugar
  10. 3/4 cups - Sugar
  11. 1/3 cups - Unsweetened cocoa powder
  12. 4 tablespoons - Butter softened
  13. 4 ounces - Unsweetened applesauce
  14. 1 teaspoons - Vanilla Extract
  15. 1 3/4 cups - All-Purpose flour
  16. 1 teaspoons - Baking powder
  17. 1/4 teaspoons - Salt
  18. 2 tablespoons - Powdered Sugar

Directions:

1. Preheat oven to 375°F. Coat 2 cookie sheets with spray or cover with parchment paper.
2. In a medium bowl, beat sugar, cocoa powder, and butter. Add applesauce and vanilla; beat to blend.
3. In a small bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt. Stir flour mixture into cocoa batter with wooden spoon.
4. Shape batter into 40 marble-size balls with your hands; place about 1 inch apart on cookie sheets. Bake until set, around 8 minutes. Remove from oven and allow cookies to stand for a minute. Transfer to wire rack to cool completely; sprinkle with powdered sugar.
