Notes:
If covered apples are allowed to sit out at room temperature, or even in the refrigerator for a long period of time, the apple juice will begin to seep through the coverings. So be sure to serve quickly after finishing dipping processes.

Number of Servings:
Ingredients:
- 1 - apple cored, sliced
- 1 cups - caramel dip
- 1/4 pounds - Ghirardelli melting chocolate
Directions:
After coring and slicing the apples, lay the slices flat on wax paper on a tray and place in freezer for 30 minutes.
Place caramel dip in a bowl. Using a toothpick to pick up apple slices, hold slices on the toothpick over the bowl. Use a fork to drizzle caramel dip over the apple slices, then place slices back onto wax paper on tray.
After covering all apple slices, return to freezer for 30 minutes.
Melt chocolate in a small microwaveable bowl on high for 45 second intervals, stirring in between until chocolate is thoroughly melted and heated through.
Remove caramel apple slices from freezer. Use a toothpick to pick up apple slices and hold over chocolate bowl, using a fork to drizzle chocolate over apple slices (it will cool and harden quickly over them). Then return slices to wax paper to finish hardening and keep in freezer until close to ready to serve.
