Chocolate Cream Cheese Buttercream Frosting

Ingredients:

  1. 1 1/2 cups - butter softened
  2. 8 ounces - cream cheese softened
  3. 1 1/2 cups - unsweetened cocoa powder
  4. 3 teaspoons - vanilla extract
  5. 7 cups - to 8 cups powdered sugar
  6. 1/4 cups - milk or more as needed

Directions:

In a large bowl, beat together butter and cream cheese until fluffy. Use a hand mixer or stand mixer for best results.

Add in cocoa powder and vanilla extract; beat until combined well.

Beat in powdered sugar, one cup at a time; add milk as necessary to make spreadable consistency. Frosting should be quite thick and will thicken even more if refrigerated.
