Ingredients:
- 1 - deep dish frozen pie shell
- 2 cups - pecans toasted, chopped
- 6 ounces - semi-sweet chocolate broken into pieces
- 3 tablespoons - flour
- 3/4 cups - (1-1/2 sticks) butter at room temperature
- 1 cups - brown sugar
- 5 - large eggs at room temperature
- 3/4 cups - light corn syrup
- 2 tablespoons - coffee liqueur
- 2 tablespoons - dark unsulfured molasses
- 1 1/2 teaspoons - vanilla
- 1/2 teaspoons - salt
- 2 cups - chilled whipping cream
- 3 tablespoons - coffee liqueur
Directions:
Bake pie shell for 15 minutes.
Mix pecans with chocolate pieces and flour in medium bowl.
With electric mixer, cream butter with sugar in large bowl until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time. Add corn syrup, liqueur, molasses, vanilla and salt; beat until smooth. Mix in pecan and chocolate mixture.
Pour filling into crust. Bake 1 hour. Cool on rack. Serve at room temperature with whipped cream.
For Coffee Whipped Cream:
Beat cream in large bowl until soft peaks form. Gradually beat in liqueur; cover and chill.
