Chocolate Chocolate Chip Skillet Cookie

Ingredients:

  1. 6 tablespoons - unsalted butter at room temperature
  2. 3/4 cups - packed light brown sugar
  3. 1 - large egg
  4. 1 teaspoons - pure vanilla extract
  5. 1 cups - all-purpose flour
  6. 2 tablespoons - Dutch-process cocoa powder
  7. 1/2 teaspoons - baking soda
  8. 1/2 tablespoons - coarse salt
  9. 1 1/2 cups - semi-sweet chocolate chips

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350° F.

In a large bowl, mix together butter and sugar. Stir in egg and vanilla, then flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt.

Stir in chocolate chips.

Transfer batter to a 10-inch ovenproof nonstick skillet; smooth the top of the batter.

Bake until just set in center and pulling away from sides, about 20 to 22 minutes.

Let cool for 10 minutes; loosen edges. Turn out onto a wire rack.

Reinvert onto a plate, slice into wedges and serve.
