Chocolate Chip Cookie Pie

Ingredients:

  1. 1 whole - Cookie crumb crust pie shell
  2. 1 packages - Chocolate chip cookie dough 16oz, set to soften for 10-15 minutes
  3. 3/4 cups - Chocolate Chips
  4. 1/2 cups - Chopped nuts any kind or mix
  5. 1 whole - Cookie crumb crust pie shell
  6. 1 packages - Chocolate chip cookie dough 16oz, set to soften for 10-15 minutes
  7. 3/4 cups - Chocolate Chips
  8. 1/2 cups - Chopped nuts any kind or mix

Directions:

1. Preheat oven to 375°F
2. Separate cookie dough into two equal balls.
3. On a floured surface, spread one ball of cookie dough into a massive round pancake the size of the bottom of the pie shell and, using a spatula, place it into the pie shell.
4. Sprinkle 1/4 cup chocolate chips and 1/4 cup of chopped nuts ontop of this layer of cookie dough.
5. Repeat steps 3 and place ontop of layer of nuts and chocolate so that the dough comes to the crust. The dough will not come up to the top of the shell and that's okay.
6. Bake for 30 minutes or until the dough is cooked to your liking.
7. Remove from oven and immediately spread on the chocolate chips. Wait 2 minutes and then spread the chocolate around like frosting, sprinkle remaining nuts ontop
8. When ready to serve, top with layer of whipped cream and shaved chocolate
