Chocolate Cake Brownies

Ingredients:

  1. 2 cups - Sugar
  2. 2 cups - Flour
  3. 1/2 cups - Butter
  4. 1 cups - Water
  5. 4 tablespoons - Cocoa
  6. 1/2 - Shortening
  7. 1/2 cups - Buttermilk
  8. 1 teaspoons - Baking soda
  9. 2 - Eggs
  10. 1 tablespoons - Vanilla
  11. 2 cups - Sugar
  12. 2 cups - Flour
  13. 1/2 cups - Butter
  14. 1 cups - Water
  15. 4 tablespoons - Cocoa
  16. 1/2 - Shortening
  17. 1/2 cups - Buttermilk
  18. 1 teaspoons - Baking soda
  19. 2 - Eggs
  20. 1 tablespoons - Vanilla

Directions:

Combine sugar and flour in a mixing bowl. Combine butter, water, shortening, in pan and melt. When melted pour into dry ingredients. Mix and then add buttermilk, soda, eggs and vanilla. Pour into a greased jelly roll pan. Bake 20 at 400. Cool and the frost. Frosting: 7 tablespoons butter, 1 1/3 c sugar and 6 tablespoons milk. Bring to a boil for 30 seconds. Remove from heat add 1/2 c chocolate chips. Beat until thickened. Can add powdered sugar if not thickening the day you do it.
