Ingredients:

  1. 3 cups - Cake Flour
  2. 2 teaspoons - Baking Soda
  3. 3/4 cups - Crisco
  4. 1 pounds - Brown Sugar
  5. 3 whole - Eggs
  6. 1/2 cups - Cocoa
  7. 1/2 cups - Water Boiling
  8. 1 teaspoons - Vanilla
  9. 1 1/2 cups - Buttermilk

Directions:

Melt Cocoa with Boiling Water. Cream Crisco with Sugar. Add the Melted Cocoa into the Crisco Sugar mixture. Add Eggs, Vanilla and Baking Soda. Alternate adding Flour and Milk.

Bake 350 F for 35 to 40 minutes.
