Chili Casserole

Ingredients:

  1. 1 pounds - ground beef
  2. 1/2 cups - chopped onion
  3. 16 ounces - kidney beans, rinsed and drained
  4. 15 ounces - tomato sauce
  5. 14 1/2 ounces - stewed tomatoes, undrained
  6. 1/4 teaspoons - garlic powder
  7. 1 tablespoons - chili powder
  8. 1/4 teaspoons - salt
  9. 1/4 teaspoons - pepper
  10. 2 cups - cooked noodles
  11. - Shredded monterey jack or cheddar cheese optional

Directions:

In a large skillet, cook beef and onion over medium heat until meat is no longer pink; drain. Stir in the beans, tomato sauce, tomatoes, garlic powder, chili powder, salt and pepper. Simmer, uncovered, for 5 minutes. Stir in noodles; heat through. Top with shredded monterey jack or cheddar cheese, if desired.
