Chicken Parmesan

Ingredients:

  1. 1 1/2 - chicken breast
  2. 28 ounces - crushed tomatoes
  3. 8 ounces - tomato sauce
  4. 3 ounces - tomato paste
  5. 2 cloves - garlic
  6. 1/2 teaspoons - salt
  7. 1/2 teaspoons - black pepper
  8. 1 tablespoons - basil
  9. 2 cups - mozzarella cheese shredded
  10. 1/2 cups - bread crumbs
  11. 1 tablespoons - olive oil
  12. 8 ounces - pasta

Directions:

Combine crushed tomatoes, tomato sauce, tomato paste, salt, pepper, basil and garlic in bottom of slow cooker and mix. Slice chicken breasts in half lengthwise and lay on top of sauce. Sprinkle chicken with salt and pepper.

Cook on high 4 hours. Remove chicken from cooker and stir sauce. Place chicken back in cooker and top with cheese.

Cook pasta before serving.

In a small pan, heat oil over medium heat for a minute and add bread crumbs with a pinch of salt and pepper. Cook crumbs, stirring often for 5 minutes.
