Ingredients:
- 3 cups - (10 oz.) spaghetti broken into 2-inch pieces
- 3 cups - to 4 cups cooked chicken bite size pieces
- 1 boxes - frozen peas (about 2 cups)
- 1 - small onion (3/4 to 1 cup chopped) chopped finely
- 2 cans - cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 cups - chicken broth
- 1 cans - 8 oz. sliced water chestnuts
- 1 teaspoons - salt
- 1/4 teaspoons - pepper
- 3 cups - sharp cheddar cheese grated, divided
- 1 cans - 6 oz. Durkee French-fried onions
Directions:
Cook spaghetti and drain. Add chicken, peas, onion, mushroom soup, broth, water chestnuts, salt and pepper and cheese - reserving 1 cup of cheese for topping. Mix well.
Spread into 9-x-13-inch pan. Bake, uncovered, at 350 degrees F for about 45 minutes or until bubbly. During last 10 minutes of baking, top with remaining cheese and French-fried onions.
