Chicken and Dumplings

Ingredients:

  1. 1 whole - Chicken
  2. 1 cans - chicken broth
  3. 3 cups - flour
  4. 1 1/2 tablespoons - chicken soup base
  5. - salt & Pepper

Directions:

Combine flour, touch of salt and touch of pepper.
Combine 2 cups of chicken broth with flour mixture.
Add flour little by little until good dough consistency.
Roll out dough and cut into 1x1 squares.

Cook Whole Chicken. Remove from pot and cool to warm. Scim the floaties from the broth. Bring broth to boil and add chicken soup base.
Add dumplings plus salt and pepper to taste.
After dumplings have cooked to tender, reduce heat and add chicken pulled from bone.

Let sit for 30 minutes to thicken. Be sure heat is on low or dumplings will burn on bottom. Or put lid on and remove from heat.
