Cherry Pretzel Torte

Ingredients:

  1. 1 cups - butter melted
  2. 3/4 cups - sugar
  3. 2 cups - coarsely crushed pretzels
  4. 8 ounces - cream cheese softened
  5. 1/2 cups - powdered sugar
  6. 16 ounces - Cool Whip
  7. 2 cans - 21 oz. cherry pie filling

Directions:

Crust:

Combine butter and sugar and blend. Add pretzels and blend. Reserve 1 cup of mixture for topping. Press rest of pretzel mixture into ungreased 9-x-13-inch pan.

Blend cream cheese and powdered sugar in large bowl. Fold in Cool Whip and spread onto pretzel crust.

Spread cherry filling over top and top with rest of pretzels.

Refrigerate for 1 hour.
