Cheeseburgers on Sandwich Buns

Ingredients:

  1. 1 1/2 pounds - lean ground beef
  2. - salt (to taste)
  3. 1/2 teaspoons - black pepper
  4. 8 ounces - Velveeta cheese, diced
  5. 2 tablespoons - milk
  6. 1 - green bell pepper, chopped fine
  7. 1 - small onion, diced
  8. 2 - garlic cloves, minced
  9. 8 - sandwich buns

Directions:

In a large skillet, brown ground beef, salt and pepper until thoroughly cooked.

Drain.

In a 3 1/2 to 4 quart crock pot, combine cooked ground beef and all remaining ingredients except buns; mix well.

Cover and cook on low setting for 6 hours.

To serve, spoon mixture onto sandwich buns.
