Cheese Stuffed Mushrooms

Ingredients:

  1. 1 pounds - medium mushrooms
  2. 2 cups - water
  3. 1 tablespoons - lemon juice
  4. 1 packages - 8 oz. cream cheese
  5. 1/2 cups - finely chopped walnuts
  6. 1 teaspoons - Worcestershire sauce
  7. 1/2 teaspoons - curry powder
  8. - fresh parsley sprigs
  9. - paprika

Directions:

Place water and lemon juice in a large saucepan. Bring to a boil and add whole mushrooms; return to boil and simmer gently for 2 minutes. Drain and cool.

Remove stems from mushrooms; chop finely and reserve 1/2 cup for filling.

Blend cream cheese with walnuts, Worcestershire sauce and curry powder; stir in chopped mushroom stems.

Place a sprig of parsley in each mushroom cavity and fill with cheese mixture; sprinkle with paprika.

Chill 2 to 3 hours before serving.
