  1. 8 ounces - cream cheese
  2. 1/4 pounds - blue cheese grated
  3. 1/4 pounds - smoked (or sharp) cheese grated
  4. 1/4 teaspoons - garlic salt
  5. 1/4 teaspoons - pepper
  6. - port or red wine
  7. - chopped nuts


Let cheeses sit out to soften at room temperature.

Cream all together with small splashes of port (or wine), keeping mixture thick.

Add spices; cream well. Roll into log and cover with chopped nuts. Refrigerate for several hours.

Serve with assorted crackers or melba toast.
