Ingredients:

  1. 2 cups - Warm Water
  2. 1 tablespoons - Yeast
  3. 1/8 cups - Sugar
  4. 1/4 cups - Oil
  5. 1/2 teaspoons - Salt
  6. 3 - Eggs
  7. 5 1/2 cups - All-Purpose flour
  8. 2 cups - Warm Water
  9. 1 tablespoons - Yeast
  10. 1/8 cups - Sugar
  11. 1/4 cups - Oil
  12. 1/2 teaspoons - Salt
  13. 3 - Eggs
  14. 5 1/2 cups - All-Purpose flour

Directions:

Mix 1.5 cups of water with the yeast and sugar. Sit for 5-10 minutes for yeast to activate.
Using a dough hook and standing mixer:
Add 1/4 cup of oil, 1 egg, and 1/2 teaspoon of salt. Mix.
Add 2-3 cups of flour. Mix. Add another 2-3 cups of flour, 2 eggs, and 1/2 cup of water. Mix well.
After 10 minutes, it should turn into a ball. Transfer into greased bowl with damp towel on top until doubled (2-4 hours). Punch it, roll into ball and divide in two. Roll each half into three sections (6 total). Roll into snakes and braid 3 together. Put on baking sheet and egg wash. Let sit for another hour to double again.
Bake on 375°F for 45 minutes.
