Ingredients:

  1. 4 cups - water
  2. 4 cups - milk
  3. 1 sticks - cinnamon
  4. 1/2 teaspoons - whole cloves
  5. 1/2 teaspoons - black pepper corns
  6. 1/2 teaspoons - green cardamom seeds
  7. 1 - star anise
  8. 1 whole - nutmeg
  9. 1 teaspoons - fresh ginger peeled, minced
  10. 8 teaspoons - loose black tea leaves
  11. 1/4 cups - honey or sugar

Directions:

Bring the water and milk to a boil in a saucepan. Add remaining ingredients (except honey or sugar) and turn the heat down to a simmer; cover and steep for about 10 minutes.

Remove from heat and strain. Add honey or sugar and mix well.

Can be served hot or cold and stored in refrigerator.
