Ingredients:

  1. 3 tablespoons - flour
  2. 3 tablespoons - oleo
  3. 1 1/2 cups - milk
  4. 1 tablespoons - chopped onion
  5. 2/3 cups - grated cheese
  6. 1/4 teaspoons - salt
  7. 1/4 teaspoons - pepper
  8. 4 cups - cooked carrots
  9. 1/2 cups - buttered cracker crumbs
  10. - crumbled bacon for topping, optional

Directions:

Combine flour with melted oleo. Add milk and cook until thick.

Combine onion, cheese, salt, pepper and carrots.

Alternate layers of carrots and sauce in a baking dish. Top with cracker crumbs. Bake at 350 degrees F for 30 minutes.

Optional: crumbled bacon on top.
