Caramel Corn

Ingredients:

  1. 1 cups - brown sugar
  2. 1/2 cups - white sugar
  3. 1/2 cups - margarine/butter
  4. 1/4 cups - milk
  5. 1/2 cups - corn syrup (1/2-3/4 cups)
  6. 1/4 teaspoons - baking soda
  7. 2 - large bowls of popcorns
  8. 1 cups - brown sugar
  9. 1/2 cups - white sugar
  10. 1/2 cups - margarine/butter
  11. 1/4 cups - milk
  12. 1/2 cups - corn syrup (1/2-3/4 cups)
  13. 1/4 teaspoons - baking soda
  14. 2 - large bowls of popcorns

Directions:

Line pans with tin foil and oil well.
1. Cook brown sugar, white sugar, butter, milk and corn syrup over direct heat. Stir occasionally, to somewhere between soft ball and hard ball stage.
2. Add baking soda and stir well until reaction ceases.
3. Pour over popcorn and mix well.
4. Bake at 250° for 1/2-1 hour. Stir every 15 minutes.
Makes 2 large bowl of popcorn.
