Ingredients:
- 1 heads - romaine lettuce (about 4 cups) torn into bite-sized pieces
- 1 cups - julienne-cut peeled celery root
- 1 cups - shredded medium-sharp cheddar cheese
- 1 cups - alfalfa sprouts
- 2 cups - cherry tomato halves
- 1 cups - sliced mushrooms
- 1 1/2 cups - sour cream
- 1/2 cups - mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons - Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoons - finely chopped drained capers
- 3 dashes - hot red pepper sauce
- 1 cloves - garlic minced
- - salt and pepper to taste
Directions:
Layer lettuce, celery root, cheese, sprouts, tomatoes and mushrooms in serving bowl in order given.
Combine remaining ingredients in a small bowl. Pour 1 cup of dressing over salad; refrigerate, covered, for 24 hours.
Serve with remaining dressing.
