Ingredients:

  1. 1 heads - romaine lettuce (about 4 cups) torn into bite-sized pieces
  2. 1 cups - julienne-cut peeled celery root
  3. 1 cups - shredded medium-sharp cheddar cheese
  4. 1 cups - alfalfa sprouts
  5. 2 cups - cherry tomato halves
  6. 1 cups - sliced mushrooms
  7. 1 1/2 cups - sour cream
  8. 1/2 cups - mayonnaise
  9. 2 tablespoons - Dijon mustard
  10. 1 tablespoons - finely chopped drained capers
  11. 3 dashes - hot red pepper sauce
  12. 1 cloves - garlic minced
  13. - salt and pepper to taste

Directions:

Layer lettuce, celery root, cheese, sprouts, tomatoes and mushrooms in serving bowl in order given.

Combine remaining ingredients in a small bowl. Pour 1 cup of dressing over salad; refrigerate, covered, for 24 hours.

Serve with remaining dressing.
