Candied Yams

Ingredients:

  1. 4 whole - Yams
  2. 1 cups - Butter
  3. 1 bags - Brown Sugar
  4. 1 bags - MarshMallows
  5. 4 whole - Yams
  6. 1 cups - Butter
  7. 1 bags - Brown Sugar
  8. 1 bags - MarshMallows

Directions:

Cut into halves or 3rds without pealing, yams.
Boil until soft, but not mushy. (about 30 min)
Drain and Cool Yams until they can be handled safely. (about 1 hr)

Peel skin off yams.
Cut boiled yam into 1/2 in wedges.
Layer yam wedges in bottom of cake pan.
Layer small pieces of butter over yam wedges.
Sprinkle brown sugar liberally over yam wedges.
Repeat layers until reaching 1/4 inch from the top of the pan.
Sprinkle liberally marshmallows over top layer fully covering the pan.

Bake in oven at 350 for 35 - 45 min or until the marshmallows are starting to brown.

Let cool a little before eating as they will be extremely hot.
