Candied Carrots & Tangerines

Ingredients:

  1. 1 pounds - Carrots Peeled & sliced 1/4-in thick
  2. 3/4 cups - Apple juice or apple cider
  3. 3/4 cups - Brown sugar Packed
  4. 1/2 teaspoons - Ginger
  5. 1/2 teaspoons - Salt
  6. 1 tablespoons - Butter Softened
  7. 2 whole - Tangerines Sectioned

Directions:

1. Arrange carrots in greased, shallow 2 1/2-qt. casserole dish.

2. Combine apple juice/cider, sugar, ginger, salt and butter. Pour over carrots.

3. Bake uncovered at 350 for 45 min. or until carrots are tender, turning occasionally.

4. Place tangerine sections over carrots, spoon some syrup over fruit and bake for 5 min. longer.
